I believe we're in the "at risk" category last time I checked.
I have flu jab every year called by my GP but then I am in the older age group. Ask your GP regarding your af but it's never affected mine.

I presume this is the same for everyone, my pAF qualifies me for a flu jab even at my young(!) age of 41.
I think one justification is that flu can be a trigger for AF and so by giving people jabs they hope to see a reduction in GP / hospital visits.
They also got me with a pneumonia jab when I went in. That one made my arm ache
Hi US have you still got a sore arm if so have you tried some ice on the vaccination site. I usually get a sore arm with a red itchy patch but this time it was just painful and the ice helped.
Yes to the flu jab for people of any age with AF. Unlike UScore my arm didn't ache when I had the pneumonia jab - and I think everyone with AF qualifies for that too.
I don't have the flu jab because complications can occur but I take homeopathic anti-cold and flu nosodes which have protected me for 30 years.
