All is going well with no medication for my AF but I do have 1 concern. Does anyone here ever experience not out of breath or breathlessness but like a loss of breath every so often or have lots of this feeling then everything normal again and is it a concern. Hope someone can shed some light. Thanks

Hope someone can relate

Wonder if it could be caused by ectopics Trotters. Are you able to check your pulse when this sensation occurs? Dr Sanjay Gupta’s video on ectopics might be worth watching........

Thanks Flapjack yeah I have a cardio heartbeat monitor and the beats skip when I feel this feeling. Will watch Dr Sanjay Gupta’s video and hope I can relate it to my own symptoms for some reassurance. Thanks
Only when in a full blown fast AF episode and only on exertion. Feels like the weight of the world is on my chest and going upstairs and/or bend over to change a nappy is a challenge.
Yes I have this on and off. Might not experience it for a couple of weeks, then it might be several times an hour for a day or so. It doesnt wake me up so dont know if it happens at night. I mentioned it to the specialist and he didn't seem that bothered. A friend who has AF also experiences it. I guess it is the result of a missed beat. I try not to worry about it. All the best.
Yes I too get this Trotters. I feel as if I need to gasp and this often happens as I lie down to go to bed. Occasionally during the day too. However I do get breathless as well, but I have put this down to being unfit as I am recovering from brain tumour surgery as well as cardio version and ablation. Hope you feel better soon.
Hi Tapanac mine happens from a few times a week to every day and I also get a funny feeling in my left ear. But never this how are you? It sounds like you have been through a lot lately.
