Good article on gut health in today's Guardian

Titled 'Happy microbes - Seven ways to boost your gut health' this has what I think is relevant info for those who suspect their AF is affected by their digestive system, with useful links to medical research publications. Many of us will have heard much of it before but it is a good summary and I learned a lot! The reference to artificial sweeteners was relevant to a recent post.

Yes thanks for the link and I'm definitely going to give up on the sweeteners in my tea , I'll try honey instead. 😀

Be careful not to take too much honey as it can put your blood sugar up more than sugar.

Thanks, but no problem as I only have half a teaspoon in tea and nothing else. Trying to shake off my sweet tooth! 😀

I stopped sugar in tea and coffee in 1983 and don't add it to anything now.

How many cups of tea a day ?

Excellent and clear article from one of my favourite rags, thanks Buffafly and CD. I've forwarded it to my family.

I replaced saccharin with Stevia a while ago but wish it tasted more like sugar!

One of our regular things is blueberry lassi made with natural yogurt, yum 😊 x

I like the look of the 'Celeriac, apple and mustard seed kraut'.

I already make sourdough bread and want to start making fermented foods.
