Kardia stopped working

Hi I was wondering has anybody had a Kardia and it stopped working, I’ve changed the battery like for like. I purchased it dec.17’. I just started seeing normal rhythm since Thursday after my ablation and then it stops!!😡. Sent email to alivecor waiting for a reply. 4days in and I don’t feel too bad, yesterday I had a weird headache which I think is normal after the ablation.so far so good 😊

Hi Nanchester,

Perhaps we share a similar problem. In my case, Kardia stopped supporting the function of its gadget on 'certain phones'. Perhaps you are one of them. The shonky outfit did so without a word of warning (that I am aware of).

All I managed, apart from wasting time, is to return Kardia and get a refund. Do not expect much service, it only seems to come during the marketing

I have to say that I have had excellent support from Kardia with any problems I've had. I can't fault them !

Can't recall early problem...nothing very dramatic. Latterly my Kardia stopped altogether and unable to locate problem myself, bearing in mind that I am not exactly ' techie...

I contacted Kardia and was taken through the rebooting procedure extremely patiently until all up and running. And an email later to confirm all ok

Oh thanks for replying, I’ve had it since dec. so thought it was the battery. It was a god send it showed AF on average 6days a week, which I showed it to my arrithmia nurse, I’ve had the cryoablation now and hoping for the best take care x

My kardia stopped working. Eventually I found out that when I had a new battery put in my Apple I phone 5 it was not an actual Apple iPhone 5 battery( you cannot get an Apple iPhone 5 battery even from Apple!). I now have to use the kardia on my husbands iPhone.

Hi thanks for the reply alivecor msged me, told me to uninstall then install the app again. So far so good it’s back working 😀x
