Kardia not working

I’ve had my Kardia for a few years. Recently l didn’t get good signals. I have tried it with several new batteries and there is no difference. Has anybody had a similar experience? Do I need to buy a new Kardia?

I guess that there isn’t much you can do if it’s not a “power” problem. Maybe worth deleting and reloading the app, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Hidden knows a bit about the Kardia and he may have some suggestions.......he’s in the USA so may not see this for a while 🛌 💤

I remember having some issues in the past with my Kardia if I had NFC turned on on my phone. Might be worth trying with NFC turned off to see if it works then.

NFC? Near Field Communication such as Bluetooth?

Not Bluetooth, that was OK for me but NFC. NFC is used for phone payments and also for phone to phone sharing when you put the phone's NFC sensors next to each other. Many new cameras and other devices also have NFC spots on them for transferring data as well. This sensor when enabled seemed to affect my Kardia.

Ahhh... not possible to switch off NFC on my iPhone.

Thanks I have been using my Kardia in the same environment for a long time with great signals. I feel it’s to do with connection. I’m going to email Alivecor.

Old phones are eventually not supported when Kardia updates.
