Hi it's been a while since I posted good news have lost 2 stone and 2lb since March I have felt so very well and walking a long way. But had upset at weekend that has caused some anxiety with that Af started playing up and blood pressure 140/130 heart palpitations low like 49/69 which is new to me before ablation was up in 175 etc very heavy chest and feeling faint just goes to show you what upset can do. I am still on rivaroxaban and diltizem ablation was a year ago.

Well done on the weight loss Sue. A BI of less than 25 is a good target for helping to control our hearts. I'm sure stress is the main problem so keep it up.

Thats great news, keep up the good work. I've hit a plateau with weight loss after losing 10kg since December last year, I'm up and down the last few weeks.

I can certainly tell I have not been at work/doing regular school runs at 2+ miles a day and not getting out in the peak district!!

Sue :-) good for you losing 2st, I am still trying to reach my goal of a BMI of 25 and haven't quite got there yet but live in hope . I am eating a very healthy diet though which should be helping my heart.

I totally agree with your thinking, I am convinced that stress and anxiety ,coupled with previous high bp triggered my AF.i have posted on my experiences before,so wont go into details again but yes,it really does help to try to reduce our responses to stress and anxiety through as many means as we can.Mindfulness, meditation, relaxation dvds, careful diet etc.Hope you feel better soon xx
