Dabigatran

Hi, think I’m turning a corner and the new blood thinner agrees with me. Only thing is I’ve just got a migraine, visual aura but no pain yet. Had my ablation 16th July & this is the first migraine since then. I used to suffer with migraines for years when I was younger but have had nothing since then. Has anyone else experienced this around 2 weeks post ablation? Or could it be the dabigatran? Thanks,Maura.

Yes it is one of the things we mention in our Recovering From Ablation fact sheet. Caused by the transeptal puncture. Should go away in a week or two. Nobody tells you this and many other things which is why we produced the fact sheet.
