Chest pain

Hi folks had ablation five months and felt fine but went to dentist for filling last week and he tried three times to numb my mouth with clear anastethic which didn’t work and had to use adrenaline one. Heart jumped like mad but since then I’ve had pain in left side of chest not noticeable during day but keeping me awake at night. Very nervous as I don’t know if it’s connected. Any ideas

Any chest pain MUST be investigated. Please see your doctor very soon. It may be nothing bu best to get checked out.

Hi Carig :-) what does your Doctor say, if you have not already done so I would telephone your EP's secretary and leave a message about what has happened. If nothing else having his opinion should put your mind at rest and stop you worrying.

It's horrible having something like AF isn't it , every little twinge in the area of the heart feels sinister and worrying even when there is no real problem.

Hi Carrig, your really must see someone in the medical profession about this a soon as you can. If pain should get worse, you must call for help immediately. If accompanied by feeling sick, sweaty, arm, neck or back pain or heavy feeling on chest - then it's 999 for an ambulance. I can't stress enough how important it is to take action right now.
