I’ve loved seeing the photos of your coastline and beaches. I thought I’d share a photo too. We are lucky enough to live surrounded by water (ocean, rivers, estuary and canals) and it’s very calming. Today we went to lunch at the marina in our friend’s boat. There’s not many places in the world you can do this on a winters day. Feeling blessed.

Winters Day in Western Australia
Wow that's wonderful.
ripper
Oh how beautiful, Kaz - the water, the sky... it relaxes me just to look at the photo! I’d love it especially in the winter (I’m guessing the summers get hot?!) Hope you’re enjoying it and feeling well x
Yes summer days are usually in the 30s (Celsius) with a few days in the 40s. Our records was 46.2 in 1991. In winter the average daytime temperature is about 18 and when we have clear skies the nights get very chilly (1 or 2 degrees).
The clarity of the light is wonderful, Kaz.
Beautiful
Looks lovely. However right now, with the continuous extreme heat we're having I fancy going on holiday somewhere where it's cold.
Looks lovely and I'm back there next March to visit my son!! 😎
Is your son in Perth?
Nearer to Cottesloe. We like travelling down to Margaret river as a bit cooler!
I love Cottesloe - we lived there when we moved from the UK many years (or should I say decades) ago. Margaret River is lovely too. Great wine for those that can enjoy it 🍷. My photo is in Mandurah, about an hour south of Perth. If you get a chance to visit, get on board a Mandurah Cruises tour and check out our dolphins and waterways 🐬
Beautiful!
