Following my ablation last August had my second follow up appointment last week and all is good. My EP wants me to go back for a CT scan as I do still have a bit of trouble getting my breath when walking fast, especially uphill, but other than that all okay 👌🏼

all sounds positive. Good news.
Hi Nanabrodie, it's all sounding good for you isn't it. Well done.
I too get very breathless walking up hills, but I put that down to not doing it enough and just know I must do it more and it will get easier. Could you be the same? Sometimes I feel exhausted just going up stairs (I live in a bungalow). I know as we get older we need to exercise more and I really aim to do that. If I don't my muscles will just waste away and I'll become weaker.
Please let us know the results of your CT scan.
Best wishes.
Jean
I think that probably I’m just unfit but when I mentioned it at my pre op last year ( the feeling I get is like my throat is closing and I am literally unable to breath) I was told that it was my heart causing this to happen. Since the ablation it is a lot better but not gone completely and my EP said it could be a problem with my arteries hence the scan. I do walk quite a lot and have no difficulty climbing stairs at home but I have just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I know this also could affect breathing. Just get on top of one thing and along comes another 🤨
