Severe loss of balance

I had a pacemaker implant on March 29 2018. Felt great the first 4 weeks post insert. Then I developed a severe sense of balance loss. Pacemaker was checked and I was sent to a ENT which can find no issues plus a CT scan was done that came back normal. Is there a possibility that my pacemaker is set to low at 60bpm.

Hi Cecil just had a pacemaker put in last Monday my heart rate set at 65 and feel great. Hope you’re not on amiodarone that caused me balance problems along with neuropathy. Call your Electrophysiologist Maybe should change your setting good luck

Hi Cecil, I had balance loss four months after getting a pacemaker. My EP let me stop taking flecainide and the balance issue immediately cleared up. Now I take the Flecainide as a PiP. Good luck to you.

did you have any "weird feelings in your head" associated with balance. vertigo ruled out.

I felt like I was intoxicated and could not walk a straight line.

don't indulge so don't know how intoxicated feels but I have this awful strange feeling. earliest neurologist appointment is October 8th at duke. Pacemaker doctor not cooperating says pacemaker and heart ok and setting low limit at 65 and not 60 will only deplete battery quicker GO FIGURE
