Bone loss

Been on eloquis since april after stroke. I think it iscausing bone loss and collagen loss. Fractured rib and think another one just fractured yesterday. Anyone have bone problems. I also have osteoporosis

Not aware of this being a side effect of the drug but you answered our own question I suspect in your last sentence. My brother in law has a the same condition and things just break.

I take Eliquis and have done for about 3 years. Had a daft accident two years ago and broke hip.After it had been replaced the lovely surgeon came to see me ans said 'lovely strong bones.Pity to have broken one'.So this in answer to your question.
