Hi there all you lovely people, just wanted to say thank you all for being there and me worrying about my pacemaker, change. Well 8 had it done yesterday,(couldn’t write back to you yesterday as the internet went down here and only come back this afternoon) . Well it started out but first of all we got blocked on a road,so had to turn back home and go a different way,,,,low and behold traffic was nose to tail all the way to Lincoln ..me and my husband getting stressed up was nearly time for me to be in hospital, but thankfully made it, was like a wet lettuce when nurse found me. When I got to the lab I was first on the list, went in ar 2.00 pm and out of lab at 2.35,new box all done.home at 4.00pm. So I want to thank you all for your kind and true words, couldn’t have done it without you. Can’t drive for a week,so taking it easy. God bless you all, the new device is Medtronic thinks is the right name, last one was St Jude Xxx

Morning CD did I read in some post of yours that you take Aloe Vera? I was wondering for a long time about this product, asked about it to my Dr, he didn’t know anything about it,but looked on his screen and read about it, then said to me it seems good, said it would be ok to take. You are the first person on here to mention it.How do you get on with it ? Sann x

Hi Sann - I don’t take it often - mostly when my gut plays up which it can do because of the meds and a history of Colitis. I buy an organic form with the gel bits in - mostly Pukka but I have to order that so if there is another in my shop available, I take it.

It’s very bitter in taste and you don’t need to take a lot but I find it really helps soothe and heal my gut. I mix with a little apple juice or add to home made smoothie - just to make it palatable.

It has helped me.

Best wishes.

Thanhs Cd for that, I have been taking it and find I feel much better when doing so, I get mine from a consultant, it’s called Forever Living, and it’s quite expensive but last a long while. I had to ask my Dr if it was ok to take with meds first, thinking he would say no but even the cardiologist said it would be ok. Hope you are feeling okay at the moment, take care, have a lovely weekend and thanks for replying back to me. P.S. my scar itches like mad at the moment, that’s better than sore though!,, xx
