Well one of my daughters told me I brought 3 girls up to be strong minded like myself So get my strong mind back again and start doing what I always done So I got going and went the shops
Oh bless you. There's an old saying which goes along the lines of there being nothing to fear but fear itself. Good to hear that you were able to get out and that it wasn't as bad as feared!
Remembering that quote helped me to visit my beloved relative in Hospice care. I was afraid, so afraid as it was a long drive and raining. But I did it any way through the grace of God . So....Do it anyway, Vonnieruth
Honestly, I kept repeating it (“Be Afraid, but do it anyway”) not only in my mind but also even saying it in a whisper to myself when I was out and it helped to keep me going. That helped me through without surrendering what I needed and had to do. I just suddenly realized, I will do it anyway.
Yes, I know what you mean! My big adventures alone are walks down our lane to the mailbox, about 1/2 mile total, our dogs enjoy it so Im not totally alone, lol.
Vonnie whenever I have had P-AF episodes I have always had to take my dog out to relieve herself , there has been no choice she has to 'go ' she will not go in the garden. I live alone so there is no one else to take her.
Sometimes I have been so breathless, shaking from head to foot and with wobbly legs I have wondered how on earth I will manage to get down the fields and back but I have done it.
I now know if I stop being anxious. walk slowly and concentrate on slow steady breathing I will be ok .
