two weeks post surgery

HI All:

Once again think you for being such a great support.

The jury is still out about feeling good about this surgery. I went to the doc and they said I had some fluid around my heart due to inflammation. I'll see them in a few weeks to see how it's going. I'm in and out of AFIB and tired but hoping for the best.

My biggest concern at this point is that my mid back, between my shoulder blades, feels so tired. It's like I did a heavy weight workout without the workout. At first I put it down to the amount of time I had to spend on my back in recovery, as someone suggested. Don't think it is that any more. Has anyone experienced this?

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Not in my experience as I haven't had an ablation but I do hope that you feel better soon.

Probably oespohageal inflammation. Have a look at the new fact sheet Recovering from Ablation on AF Association website.. It is VERY early days yet so don't be too stressed but call your Arrhythmia Nurse if you are worried.
