HI, my mother has had AF for many years (and is on Flecainide, Betaloc and Pradaxa)... about a few months ago the AF started coming on intermittently and episodes usually only lasted 12 to 36 hours. However it appears that when taking the above said supplements (due to a tested deficiency), the episodes start a few hours after taking them can take 4-5 days with B12 and even over a week or two with B6. Any ideas on this? Our Naturopath is trying to get to the bottom of this, but finds it quite odd.

I find it quite odd as well! I would look at the additives and fillers of the supplements - they are the usual culprits for me. I would also look at when taken and what with. I take a liquid form as it doesn’t have caking agents and magnesium in and am ok with that.
Hi CDreamer, thanks for your suggestions, will look into those. She did use B12 drops in the past and as soon as she took more than 1 drop per day the af triggered a few hours after taking. Just recently noticed that it is the same case with B6. Will look more at the fillers etc. Cheers!
The various B vitamins all work together, and also along with all the other needed vitamins and minerals, yet these get depleted by having to process the drugs we take over many months. I assume she is taking a good multi-vitamin-and-mineral tablet to replenish these along with the B6 and B12, so that they can all work in synergy? Perhaps she would do better to take the latter first for three months, and then try the extra B6 and 12 if they are still needed, in very small quantities.
But I expect that your naturopath has covered all these aspects!
