Hi all, Im currently finding my AF is getting worse and I'm starting to think that pollen is triggering it? During this lockdown and over the last 3 weeks, I'm going for a daily walk (as many are) but finding that approx. 1 - 2hrs after any walk / exposure outside I then send the rest of the day or evening having palpitations. My body feels like its fighting something off, does anyone else have this type of thing?

Any infection or inflamation such as hay fever puts a strain on the heart whch can make AF more likely. It is not a trigger more a result. Walk = exertion+ inflamation =worst case scenario
If the pollen affects your breathing, it could be that you aren’t breathing properly and - for me - that can trigger arrhythmias. I put plenty of vaseline inside the edges of each nostril and try not to breathe through my mouth. Tree pollen is my misery.
I find my AF is a lot better in the warmer months and often wonder if it's because I'm more active with walks and doing the garden etc.
It's not having a drink or eating something when you get home that's triggering your attacks is it?
