Too early for lunch out?

I've been invited out for Sunday lunch at our local pub. I'd be out for a couple of hours. My ablation was on Wednesday, so four days ago, and I feel well.

Any thoughts?

If I went would a small glass of red wine, with the meal, be over the top?

No advice from the hospital on this and not something I thought to ask about.

Go but eat lightly and NO ALCOHOL. Drink plenty of water to stay well hydrated.

Agree with Bob. Also I'd say don't go if it's going to cause you any stress at all.

Thanks.

Good point about avoiding stress.

Going may be a destressor as it will remove me from demands at home.

J :-)

go as advised ijan, but take plenty of money so that you don't have to stand and do the washing up....enjoy!

It all fell apart: the preferred venues, close by, were fully booked and I didn't want to add effort and stress by going somewhere much further away.... maybe next week :-)

I wouldn't even risk a drink it is just not worth undoing all the work of the ablation. There will be plenty of time later to have a drink or two
