Hi there all you lovely AFs ,haven’t been in here for quite a while. Problem I have is,due to have pacemaker changed June 18, had pacemaker checked yesterday as I feel so ill they said that my heart rate as 187, and it was too fast for the pacemaker to work,so was sending a letter to dr to up my Bisoprolol ,said they would send it yesterday,long stor short receptionist not arrived, and I cannot see a dr until he gets letter, in the meantime I’m feeling so Ill, any suggestions what I do now would be appreciated ,thanks Sann

That is far too fast I fear Why not go to A and E and by the way you will see from my usual posts this is not something I generally advocate.

I wouldn't sit it out and wait especially as the weekend is looming. Think I would consider a and e with a heart rate that high especially as you feel so ill too. You could ring 111 but I guess they would suggest a and e too most probably. Take care.

I too would take myself to A & E, it sounds as if you need some medical intervention to get your heart rate down. Best to get it sorted now. Take care.
