Great news Fastbeat, must be a relief. Hope you are suitably impressed with what you see in the mirror! 😉

The better the eyesight the more wrinkles I see.

Great news Fastbeat - I like the joke which complains about my mirror being haunted.

When I stand in front of it, some old woman is looking back at me.

Ignore the wrinkles and enjoy your eyesight. Best wishes.

Thanks Finvola, I will keep the wrinkles in exchange for good eyesight. Ha!Ha!

Good to hear that Fastbeat. I expect we will all need that done one day. Comes with getting older.

You don't stop having fun when you get old. You get old when you stop having fun.

Why battered and bruised? I did not have that after my cataract procedures.

It did actually bleed onto my face for a short while eye socket all puffy and discoloration of skin ,maybe something to do with anticoagulant s I take and it is a trauma to the eye.

Not so swollen today very bloodshot but quite comfortable

I had my first one on Wednesday. I was pleasantly surprised at the smoothness and lack of pain during the operation. My eye is very bloodshot too and I assume that this is normal. I have to put in 4 drops a day for 4 weeks and I suppose this will eliminate the bloodshotness?

Yes same routine as you.Feeling comfortable this morning, but still bloodshot,my first eye done 5weeks ago is perfect now.

I was taking Warfarin when I had my one done. After wearing glasses from the age of 12 I saw a whole new world. Even grass looked in 3D.

Yes my 1st eye has excellent result, so far 2nd eye has good vision sure it will be even better after few more days.As you say everything is so bright and sharp, a wonderful procedure to have if needed.

Yes, I went to the races and did not need my binoculars.

I did after a couple of years develop Posterior capsule opacification (PCO) on one eye and needed a five minute laser procedure to correct it.

Not what you're looking for?
