UPDATE on EP visit

Thanks to all who replied to my too late for ablation question. Saw the EP on Thursday and he was very optimistic that I have an 80% chance of a better life and he said maybe a month and I could get off some meds! He can be optimistic he's not the one having it done- HA! He said he has done thousands and made it sound so easy. So I said go ahead. Had to do a sleep apnea test at home and waiting on the results of that. They were not specific as to when I could have this done so I will wait and call tomorrow to ask a timeframe. I also requested that they keep me overnight since I feel safer in the hospital than coming home and having an emergency and he agreed to that. Just don't know now with our Covid cases in the US out of control and if they will be stopping elective surgeries again. Right now I am good with my decision and I will check back in before I go because I know that I will need your thoughts, prayers and good wishes to get me through!

thanks again for alway being there each morning for me......Pam

Read our fact sheets on preparing for and recovering from ablation. We wrote them from patient experience rather than overly optimistic doctor's projections.

That's great news Pam. Prepare in advance as Bob said the leaflets say it all!

Best wishes
