Leaky heart valves

Hello

I am 62 and apart from AF am relatively healthy but I have three leaky heart valves which need replacing/repairing. My Cardiotherasic Surgeon is concerned that my lungs may not be up to major surgery and I am undergoing further tests. Has anybody had valves repaired which doesn't involve major surgery. I am looking at alternatives to anaesthetic.

I doubt that there is a viable alternative to anaesthetic for this major surgery I'm afraid but would be delighted to be proved wrong. .

Sorry, I can’t your question but I have heard that TAVI can be done without a GA

Thank you Oyster. This could be an option if it is deemed to risky for full surgery.
