Apixaban. Has anyone suffered joint pain and muscle cramps since starting on this drug.

Hi wing2. Yes I got joint and muscle pain and also muscle weakness especially in my legs. Like happyjo I changed to rivaroxaban but these symptoms are actually worse now and very debilitating. I'm seeing my cardiologist on 16th Feb and am seriously considering going back to warfarin. These side effects aren't listed on the patient information, but there certainly seems to be increasing anecdotal evidence.

I'll post an update after my appointment.

Yes,both, but worse on Rivoraxaban and on Dabigatran ended up in A &E unable to swallow.
