My consultant has put me on it since I’m in hospital anyway with the tail end of my respiratory syncitial virus. Apparently it shouldn’t be given to those whose blood pressure is on the low side but at least if I keel over I’m on the right place so it’s perfect timing.
I’m on day 2 with no side effects so far and it’s supposed to be really beneficial for heart failure patients so here’s hoping !
Hope you are all well xx

Not being rude but trying to be helpful. Sorry you took it that way .Miss spelling in title didn't help mind but if you google vaguely right spelling it will find it for you.
Paceygirl74 Thanks very much for the comments. You’re right. I’m in the correct place at a convenient time. I doubt I would ever have got to try it otherwise as they certainly wouldn’t have brought me in especially, things being so tight in the Health Service.
Sorry about the spelling . My consultant is exceptionally good at her job. Lucky she didn’t go down the lexographer route!
I have been taking Entresto for several months now. I have experienced no significant side effects. It is a combination of an ACE inhibitor and a new drug with different mechanisn of action. In studies comparing it to Lisiniprol (an ACE inhibitor) there were 20 percent less deaths and hospitalizations for CHF over a 2 year period. You are fortunate to have a doc who is up to date on the newest therapies. Best of luck.
Thanks @etheral. I know I’m very fortunate in my NHS Doctor. I went privately once to a highly esteemed cardiologist and he sent me scuttling back to the NHS telling me that my cardiologist had a reputation second to none in her field which encompassed my particular problems.
