Is this normal post ablation?

Hello, I just walked up the road again slowly, checked my pulse and it was 155!! It did go down whilst standing still. I can't remember from last time whether this happened. I remember being more breathless after my last ablation. How do I manage this?

Thank you and sorry to post twice in a day.

Bella :)

I think that your are aware of your heart right now and need to relax and accept things as they progress. Raised heart rate is very common after ablation. Just listen to your body and act accordingly. Softly softly catchy monkey.

Hello Bella, if you notice a drop as soon as you stand still then it almost certainly isn't the AF or SVT back. Before I suffered from AF I would visit the Gym and it is normal for your heart rate to climb to 160 during exercise. If you stop and control your breathing you will very quickly start to see it drop. Following my second ablation, my heart rate would stay close to 100 for up to 2 hours following exercise. It all boils down to how fit you are and 3 years later, I am ok now.
