Cold extremitirs

I,ll try not to witer i am 5day post R.F ablation,and my hand and feet,are getting really cold,21 c in the house i need blankets ,but still freezing feet,

I am on sotolol 80 ,3 times,but thzt is the same as for years ,any ideas

Hi, i’m really new to this, but when your heart slows down too much you are not getting enough blood to the body, especially to the feet.It sounds like your medicine is slowing your heart down too much.

I too get cold hands and feet, in fact very cold and as Hidden says, it is the heart not pumping as it should. It is more noticeable when I not moving around, again this makes sense to me. So I have a hot water bottle to place on my 'slippered and socked' feet and wear fingerless mittens - makes me smile writing this because it reminds me of what my mother used to do!

Are you moving at all ? I am 7 days post op ablation and slowly worked up to 1.5 miles today . Not heavy stuff yet but it has helped me . Only on flecanide 50mg now and elequist 5 mg .

Make sure your also drinking enough liquids and that you don't get dehydrated .

Thanks 8 days now walking on the flat but getting dizzy,still cold feet,,I'll give it a week and seek help,

Hope your doing ok.i find it hard they think my partner has a cerebellum problem as she keeps falling ,she is only 34 but getting gp help is very difficult,

We just lucked on a dr with some knowledge, after she ended in a and e,wile waiting for me at my pre op.

It,s al a bit of a battle but support helps
