7 Months post ablation

Had my 6 months post ablation review yesterday with one of the lovely rhythm nurses at Glenfield (Slightly late at almost 7 months.)

Happy with progress, holter monitor showed very few ectopics over a 24 hour period and I did feel all of them during waking hours. It did show that there was not enough difference in my heart rate under load with 5mg of bisoprolol slowing everything down. Bisoprolol has now been halved and I already noticed a difference, taking 3 minutes off my 2 mile walk to work this morning, and feeling much less breathless on the way. More able to attack the hill!

hopefully as my fitness increases I will be able to come off the bisoprolol altogether , that would be the best gift ever!

Hopefully I can shed some of the excess pounds that I need to.

Next review in 6 months and fingers crossed I will be discharged
