iPad App

I’ve just recently installed the HU app on my iPad and don’t like it for typing messages. After a couple of lines you can’t see what you are typing and when you go to try and look it just keeps bringing up the keypad on the screen and obscuring everything again. Other apps have a key to collapse the keypad but not this one. It’s fine for reading posts BUT a pain in the neck for writing them. Hope this makes sense and not too many mistakes since I can’t see what I am typing. Anyone else got the same problem

Yes same here Walter. You can use Safari and just access the site as a normal web page instead.

Hi Koll,

I had been using Safari but thought I would try the app after I got an email about it being available. Will go back to Safari for any replies I am sending, like now.

Not been on HU a lot since getting my pacemaker, although I found the app was quite good for just having a quick look every morning.

Got rid of the sheep now, so not doing a lot of farming. Just rent the ground out to a neighbour.

Hope things are well with you.

That's what I'm doing Walter, sheep have all gone and I rent my land out to a sheep farmer. I'm enjoying it, hope you are.

Sure am Koll. I’m in Toronto at present visiting my son and his wife. Was at Niagara at the weekend and going “up country” this coming weekend, so looking forward to that as well.

I avoid most apps for my iPad and just use Safari as Koll suggests - works fine.

Hi Finvola,

Just thought I would try it after getting the email saying it was available. However, will go back to Safari for any replies I am doing.
