OK, a brief update, 14 days after cryo ablation.

The first three days were wonderful, full colour back, no pain, no naughty heart. Then I started to get a tickly cough, daily migraines (aura, very occasional headache) and a heavy feeling in my chest (discomfort, not pain). I've started to walk a bit - up to about 6,000 steps per day, but still can fall asleep at the drop of a paper.

Do I feel I'm getting better? - yes

Am I surprised at how much it's affected me? - yes

Would I do it again? - yes, providing it gets me off the calcium channel blockers and ace inhibitors, only time will tell with this.

If anyone is about to undergo the procedure, don't worry about it - the fear is far worse than the experience. Just don't expect to do much for the first few weeks......

I'll let you know how I get on over time

Ah yes those wiggly zig zaggy lines caused by the transeptal puncture. They never warn you about those do they. Good to read you positive comments. Stay resting.
