Hi i am 45 yrs old and live in the UK, I was born with heart problems i have had AF on and off for as long as i can remember. I had a mitral valve prolapse and had heart surgery in 2003 to repair it which is still working well.

In 2013 i had a heart attack and in 2015 i had a stroke, for the last 2 yrs i have been in AF. I think i have many angels watching over me either that or i have 9 life's like a cat, but i prefer the angel idea. lol.

Living with AF is not something i find easy but we just had to keep taking the pills and plod on.

Hi and welcome to the forum it looks like you have been through the mill. I hope things are getting better, the people on here are very helpful and also very knowledgeable about AF there is also the search box top right hand corner and some of the things you may want to ask may have already been covered. Like the idea about the angels hope they stay close

Hello mrslightfoot welcome, I don't believe in angels so will put your success at coping with your medical conditions and staying positive to a strong will and determination and long may it continue...
