Our animals are part of our family.Following what seemed to be a minor cough my beautiful ginger cat was found to have 'a large mass' in his lungs. No other warning and no possibility of surgery. I share your grief and I make no apologies for saying this to you regarding an animal on this site.
Oh dear, I am sorry. I completely know how you will be feeling right now. Our animals give us so much unconditional love and loyalty and leave such a hole when they die. Allow yourself a big long cry, it will do you good. X
You were so lucky to have such a beautiful animal to share part of your life with. She is now in the Rainbow Brige, you will see her again someday. Please look up the Rainbow Brige on the internet (I do not know how to attach to this site) I think the words will help you through this sad time. So sorry you are hurting, we animal lovers have all been where you are today.
I feel for you. I love all cats, not just my own, but all I see. I read recently that cats have 3 feet firmly planted in the wild, and it's that innocence which endears them to me. I lost my oldest cat (only 4 at the time) in a road traffic accident 2 years ago. I grieve for your loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. We have a rescue cat, a Tortoisehell. We have had her 8 years and when she chose us to love and care for her, vets at the rescue centre put her age roughly at 10 then, so now going 18 ish we know she has limited years left. When her time comes we know we'll be devastated and so share your sadness now.
Ah - so sorry for you and your pain. I lost my little Burmese two years ago and I still feel her gentle little body weave against my legs. Thinking of you.
How awful, sooo sorry to hear about your cat. I can empathise totally since my beloved 12 year old dog developed pancreatitis this week and it was touch and go for 24 hours.
What a whole her death will leave in your already battered heart.
I know. I was scared that she would outlive me given the heart problem and she was such a handful that making arrangements just in case had proved very difficult
I lost my beloved Paidin to traffic accident 5 years ago and I still miss him. I am now the privileged carer of Jack who gives joy and laughter every day.
Remember all the fun and good times, grieve and gradually the pain will soften.
So sorry to hear of your loss, people with pets will completely understand how you feel, I lost my lovely golden retriever at age 13 and still miss him, hope you are feeling a bit better today, Heather
