I am sure my Hiatus Hernia is one of the major triggers for my PAF , I have had the hernia for about 35 years , I am 75
When I eat too much , lie down , recline or do something where I bend over after a meal and some other situations the PAF will start. After having it for so long I have a very good idea what triggers a lot of my PAF and it is not my imagination
I was wondering if anyone has had a Hiatus Hernia repaired by Surgery and had noticed a reduction or it stopped the Afib episodes ?

HH can be a trigger for AF like many things . You have AF so you will get AF but may find that your episodes are less if you have the HH treated. It won't cure your AF but my help it.
