Tired Legs

Hi everyone,

For the last couple of weeks I have been experiencing fatigued, tired legs. It does seem to come and go and I can still do most things, but need a rest afterwards. For example I walked my dog for 4 miles yesterday with out any issues.

I have persistent AF, am waiting for an ablation and take 2.5 mg of Bisoprolol and Apixaban. I did have a bout of 'flu 3 weeks ago and was in bed for 3 days, but wondered if anyone else has experienced this due to their AF? Does the heat make AF worse?

Thanks,

Stuart

Stuart, if you can walk 4 miles then you are doing well!

Seriously though, the effects of flu can be serious and long lasting. It's called post-viral syndrome.

I also take 2.5 bisoprolol. I take it at night as I often wake in AF. Also its effects during the day are minimised.

If you are in persistent AF then you are bound to feel fatigued. Hopefully the ablation will sort things out. Good luck with it.

Stuart..i go along with what Jennydog has said. Wish I could walk 4 miles now.

You must be careful with any heart issues in this heat.

Best of luck with your ablation

Sandra
