I have been on Amiodarone for 3 weeks now. During that time my water retention has significantly got better. So much so I am reducing the amount of diuretics I am taking and my hands calf's, feet and arms are almost back to normal.

Why would that be?

I could guess that because your heart is working more efficiently then you are less in failure and holding less fluids.
