I understand that you will now be anxious during the countdown to your ablation.
From experience l know that whilst it is a difficult period where the planned ablation is often in your mind, the wait will be over before you know it.
Best wishes for a successful outcome but as you have identified it is important to take Bob's advice afterwards and rest rest and more rest.
Take Pete.ihave had angioplasty done and quite a few angiography all under sedation so think I have the basics of what the procedure might be like so not to worried. Thanks for your good wishes, will update after it's all over.
Morning Jane. Yes, I understand totally how you are feeling as my AF would strike from nowhere and continue for either weeks, or once months. You feel that it's never going to go and that's how you're going to have to live your life for ever. Does it make you feel extremely tired and unable to walk far too?
However, there's light at the end of your tunnel as you will be surprised how quickly June 27th will be here. I wish you all the luck in the world with your ablation and hope you will soon be cured of the dreaded AF.
As its exam weather Jane you can empathise with all of the young people and consider the similarities. You've endured the worst and are now preparing for the final test and looking forward to a good grade of success after it. Best of luck, time will fly and you will not regret it.
Just saying I wish you all the best. When it works it's fantastic and worth having more than one to get free if this debilitating condition. I had my first and only in Nov 2013 and still af free. It took 5 months for thing to settle down after the procedure so remember to be patient.
ThanksLallym,I hope I have read enough of everyone's experiences of the waiting game so I will not become despondent and impatient, but just watch this space, hope I am as good as my word.
