Really helpful if you are worried about taking an anti-coagulant and finding it hard to make up your mind.

Of course even being anticoagulated does not always prevent clots. My friend's mother in law died recently because of a clot in the small bowel 5 days after experiencing a pain. She was taking an anticoagulant. I looked this up and AF is mentioned as one of the causes of this. Hey ho another thing to worry about.

There are always exceptions rothwell but on balance unless you have a serious bleed risk there is only one answer for me.
