Login Problem

Anyone else having a login problem on this site over the past few days.

It keeps on asking me to login and will take several attempts to accept it.

When it does it again asks a few minutes later when I'm reading the Forum.

I think it was yesterday that this site suddenly started asking me to log in every time I came on, but I get on straight away.

It's not at my end in that case. Usually there is a message asking if you want the password saved but not now.

No, just had to log in again. Last time there was a problem it was to do with who my internet provider is - EE, but I have a very old email address that was with freeserve. Don't know whether you're the same?

I'm with ZEN but it is only this site that is a problem and the address is quite new.

I am wondering if its your cache of cookies? everytime I have problems with other sites and call them, they tell me to clear my cookies. And as much as I dont want the 'fault' to be at my end, clearing the cookies does make it work properly again! Might be worth a try.

I heard on the news that EE is stopping all freeserve addresses - but I guess that you will have been informed of this?

Yes thanks, they have informed me of this. They're actually stopping their email service and recommending gmail. Such a pain!!!

Not logging in, but it won't let me log out!!

Funnily enough it's been asking me to log in too but not everyone I visit the site.....technology can be so frustrating sometimes.

I have contacted the Moderator but looking at the previous help replies it seems that it is 'OUR FAULT"

Often, we get emails from users reporting that they have to sign in every time they access our site.

If this is happening to you, it is probably related with your browser (e.g. Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari) privacy settings. Click here to read more about which browsers we support and which are incompatible.

If that were the case it would surely be affecting all the other sites I use.

It must be a fault at their end. Surely the moderator knows of it
