Anyone have side effects like face and head fuzzy and weakness in body from amioderone ? I have also been put in bisoprolol so not sure what's causing it also slight tremor in body ... am also on steroids so swollen fac might be that

Winifred, I also am on Amiodarone and fully understand what you say in your post. I have tried all the medications and mixtures of different drugs. Had a Loop recorder inserted for 1 year. Had a Pacemaker fitted 18 months ago. Finally given 200mg od Amiodarone. Within 3 months the AFib-RVR had again broken through this medication.......I am also prescribed 17.5mg od Bisoprolol and 125mcg od Digoxin ..... Plus, Antibiotics 250mg od......Steroids, Statins, Furosemide, Carbocisteine, Isosorbide, Omeprazole, Ramipril, Rivaroxaban, , Salbutamol, Fostair, GTN Spray..........Plus I have an Emergency Rescue pack of different medications. I receive regular blood tests to see how my Lungs, Kidneys, Liver, are functioning? No two people are the same- - different side effects to different people?

"Moon face" seems to be a fairly comment side effect of oral steroids (prednisolone). I don't know about topical steroids. But it's hard to know what causes what sometimes!! Trial and error!

Perhaps you can discuss with your GP or whoever prescribed them - there are alternatives, but it's finding what's right for you.

I would guess the Bisoprolol is causing it. I have had some weskness and numbness since taking it but the Amiodarone caused no problem. It may get better after a few days.
