Dystrophin depletion a possible cure?

Hi I wonder if anyone has heard about the work Professor Barbara Casadei and her team are doing on Dystrophin depletion.

Apparently people with AF have low levels of this muscle protein and remodelling the heart and turning off the switch that leads to Dystophin depletion
