This simple device clipped on the ear sounds an interesting experiment to help reduce AF attacks.

It would be truly wonderful if something as simple as this helped.

I've always felt that the cure for AF could easily be something quite simple. Let's hope that they make progress with this idea.

I read about this a while back. Would be great if they can establish that it works for all of us.

Thanks for posting this. They will nail it one day

I hope they do, before too many people have their hearts permanently damaged by ablations.

Thanks jean, I think this 'cure' would be most effective for those of us with vagally mediated Lone PAF. The logic to me appears to be that the stimulation helps to speed up the re-balancing of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve system and therefore reduce the likelihood of AF.

Yes, I think you could be right. At least this type of AF aid will hopefully do no damage to our hearts.

Pretty amazing results , fingers crossed we can be rid of this condition one day

I found myself wondering what I could clip onto my ear if I have an AF attack, only thing I could come up with is an earring and keep flicking it. Actually I don't need the earring, just flick that part of the ear. I must look at that report again. Lol.

I`m very positive there will soon be a new treatment for afib and ablations will be a thing of the past. After consulting my crystal ball I`ll wager it will be within the next 5 years.

Watch this space ;-)

Best,

Paul
