I've been seeing posts about a Kardia machine which will produce Ecgs. Is this the one being sold by Alive Cor that works with your mobile? Are there any good alternatives as it doesn't look like it's compatible with my phone. 😞 It looks such a good idea!!

Kardia
Suzie, Kardia is the new name for the AliveCor product.....suggest yo google it just to satisfy yourself
Suzie, it is a good idea, I agree. Have you got an iPad? I use mine with an iPad and it's great.
I use it and it works just fine but only for AFIB. I pre ordered Qardio Core at getqardio.com
I've had Kardia (Alive Cor) since it first came out.
It reads 'possible AF', Normal and Unclassified'.
I found it extremely useful in determining if what I was feeling was AF.
My Cardiologist thought it was fantastic especially when I sent him a PDF of a reading.
I highly recommend it if you can afford it.
Cheers
Barry
I think they upgraded it recently, and will only commit themselves to it being compatible with phones that have come out since then. Our phone is an Android 4.4.2 and so is not on their list, but it seems to be working fine (we only bought the Kardia just before Christmas - from PMS (Instruments) Ltd in the UK for £88.99 including VAT (ie £74.16 + VAT)). I suggest you ask on here if anyone else has the same phone as you and is using a recently-bought (in the last year perhaps?) Kardia successfully on it.
(I did contact Kardia about compatibility, but they would not commit to it being compatible with any phone other than those listed on their website)
It sounds perfect and I'd like to give it a go. I don't have an ipad and my phone is a Sony Aqua, so isn't in the list, which mainly seems to be Samsungs. I don't see why it wouldn't work if I download the app from Google Play. it's just an expensive mistake to make!! I'll give them a ring although if you didn't get anywhere Polski, I don't see I'd be any different... Worth a shot anyway. Thank you for everyone's advice!!
