Quickest appt ever.

Only went to see my cardiologist on 10th January and he wanted an mri before he decides what to do next regarding my af. Still getting short episodes and getting slightly more breathless again despite the ablation in July and being on Dronedarone and losing weight steadily. Appointment came today for 15th February which is mega quick as last time was an 18 week wait. So once had the mri I'll know what's happening. Will it be leave things as they are. Another ablation or ablate/pace procedure. Just a waiting game once again but I'm well used to it on my af journey x

Hi I've been reading some of your posts and think you have had an incredible journey. I really hope things get sorted for you. I'm still trying to get over the fear of death or negative activity happening in ablation procedure so I can agree to have one. I am not convinced I would be fixed and I may need pacemaker too. Did you hve the ablation where it freezes your heart?

Hi Julie I'm not really sure what type I had it was done under the urgent banner and I was just pleased to have it done as was unable to get about much and my breathlessness was pretty bad. I wouldn't hesitate to have another one x

It's good you have recommended it! Fingers crossed for things.

Bad my forth and hopefully last ablation . I still worried but almost routine. Even nurse and all staff knew it was my forth.

Point is if competent staff risks are low. Outcomes usually do not take four times I am just an outlier.
