Woke up this am in a fright, weekly fire alarm test in our building was being done I was lying on my left side my heart thundering , I have AF. after about 3/4 of an hour it calmed down as I rested. Felt OK till just before teatime when heart started thundering again felt shakey, sweaty, weak, I grabbed my oximeter 96over 68/72 alright? , then I had an inspiration ….I tested my bloodsugar , Result 3.6 OMG I remembered the saying (under4 on the floor} grabbed some food quick. Got too many things to check must have taken too much insulin, ever given yourself a fright? On too many meds Warfarin, Bisoprolol, Gabapentin, Diabetic med Arthritic Meds Poor me I was on the edge of a hypo till I had my lightbulb moment lol. I am a 80yr old neurotic lol Cheers Gladie xxx

My dog jumped on me and it erased my reply which was longer than this. I am so sorry for all you are going through. I was going through a lot more with pain from an arthritic spine from my back on up to my neck, ulna nerve pain and end stage knee osteropsis and I am not a candidate for surgery.

It wasnt until my doctor referred me to acupuncture that I was miraculously relieved from pain. I had never heard of such a thing as acupuncture, but since then, my pains have basically disappeared and I dont need the garbatin medication any longer. Do you think it may help you? I was shocked at my results after only one treatment about 5 years ago. grateful for it.

But to be more clear ....I use crutches to avoid the knee pain and I basically dont do a lot of anything to avoid the spinal pain (brittle bones pressing nerves) so if I tried to go back to doing what I used to, it would be pretty painful I suspect.

Hi April , thank you for your kind suggestions regarding acupuncture but I do not think it would apply to me. I had an operation to release trapped nerves in my spine in 2006 it was 👍But then unfortunately arthritis set in so I take Zapain, my diabete issue has caused nerve damage for which I take Gabapentin. My worst worry AF for which I take Bisoprolol and Warfarin frightens me and causes me 😱 fear and anxiety, which is much worse than any pain I may have . Cheers Gladie Xxx
