Tanned looking legs

Hi am on Warfarin and Bisoprolol for irreg HR slow type....in past few months all hair on my egs which were very hairy before has gone and recently my legs look brown as though been sunbathing. Has anyone had similar or know what may cause this please.Been on W &B about 3 years.

I have this but not sure it was due to Warfarin. But having said that I have now taken Apixaban for about a year and a half and the browness has reduced so it could have been Warfarin... this may occur in some people.My good GP was perplexed by it and Dermatology at the local hospital gave it a name(which I have forgotten) but rather 'threw' me out as a time waster.I also developed some oedema around the ankles although I am slim and almost a little under weight.Google it and see what you come up with. I did not get very far .I think it is worth persisting with trying to find out what it is if it troubles you.

Thinning hair on your head when on warfarin is a well known side effect , so perhaps it has an effect on the hair follicles all over your body!

Good point..lost my hair on head many years ago so it's possible the leg hair is med related.Many thanks.

I have this and was told it was venous insufficiency and apparently nothing l can do except to raise my legs above my heart when resting.I would love to know if there is anything l can do as l don't like the look and now. don't wear shorts
