Wondering how safe and effective this chinese herb is for A fib: If there are interaction effects with other drugs and what experiences have been with any of you using it. Finally, where to buy it since it is an unregulated herb.

Just had a look for evidence, but there is little except this slightly odd paper ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

It notes that there are significant adverse effects and there seems no evidence of any clinical benefits. It is not well tested, unregulated, so seems risky to use.

Traditional Chinese Medicine has much to recommend it because of its holistic approach HOWEVER, I would never take Chinese herbs which are unregulated and vary in purity and sourcing. I found acupuncture great for joint pains due to a fall but refused the herbs offered. Why put yourself at risk and upset the apple cart.
