Does anyone know if you have to stop taking Apixaban before having 2 teeth out?

That needs to be something your dentist and cardiologist should advise on.

I had a large, difficult back tooth taken out and didn't have to stop but my dental consultant specialised in anticoagulated patients. He saw me at 8.15am and after extraction observed me for about 15 - 20 minutes, packed the socket with dissolving haemostatic gauze and stitched it. I took my Apixaban dose at 9.30am and had no problems.

You really need to discuss that with your dentist. Most do not bother these days and perform extractions under anticoagulation.

Bit of a controversy for me between the Dentist, the GP and the Cardiologist and the hospital when I asked them. Seeing as it was an eye tooth and deeply embedded the GP said 2 days the Hospital said 4 days and the Cardiologist said 1 day, the Dentist said no days, so I chose to go in the middle and selected 2 days. He also stitched it up as an extra precaution. All went well and very little bleeding.

You may need to push it but personally I would go for staying on it all the time. Some dentists are still back in the past and want you to stop for a number of days.

Minor surgery recommendations are either not stopping or 24 hours. If it's an easy extraction then no need to stop

Sometimes the "easy" extractions aren't.

I've recently had a tooth out whilst on Dabigatran, the dentist sent me to the local dental hospital to have it done as a precaution. They put something described like seaweed over the site and stitch it on to help with the bleeding. Your dentist should discuss your options with you. good luck.

My dentist advised coming off apixaban day before and day of procedure. Still worried about getting blood clot.
