Apixaban

Been on Apixaban for almost a year now and my recent Liver Function Test was raised.Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a slightly raised liver function test and am on apixaban. I had to have a repeat in a month and it was back to normal. Apparently it can be raised for all sorts of reasons including infection. However I know that apixaban can affect the liver. X

Thank you..I thought it might because the liver copes with clotting mechanisms.Have been asked to do a repeat in two weeks but have made an appointment to talk it through with my gp on Friday before that as I'm going on holiday abroad and don't want them to start panicking me three days before I go!!x

agree it can be all sorts reasons- mine has been fine so far on Aoixaban
