Hi,
I have had 2 ablations so far, first one went wrong and second one I opted for Cryo, this lasted 2.5 years and I felt on top of the World, now the A.fib has come back with a higher heart rate than I had before.
I am 65 December.

I had three before my AF was sorted and know of others at four or even five. It all depends on your architecture and if the EP is prepared to try again. Age doesn't come into it.
Hi Bob,
Thanks for that, I am currently going in and out of A.Fib ie: normal for part of the day and then a.fib again, it's very frustrating, taking Flecainide.
My Cardiologist is reluctant to do another ablation because I had a tampanade the first time, but that was because he burnt the heart too much, second time I had Cryo with him. Was thinking if he won't do it to try another Cardiologist?
Great to know.
I am at 3 and may need a 4th touchup.
I have had 3. So far. There is a limit but depends entirely on the patient. I had extensive one last time so running out of space. But settled at mo.
I have had 3 Ablations and just had my 9th CV. Kicked out in less than a week. They suggested another Ablation however the last one took 4.5 hours to stop a femoral leak because of the scarring from the previous ones?
Had No.10 four weeks ago, however my circumstances are quite unique as I found out when I posted about No.9 about 18 months ago. No one size fits all.
