Crouching over a tablet or having a tablet or computer on your lap is also a mistake I had made.
Using a computer is stressful. So I don't use it anywhere near as I used to. I think the stress on the computer and family matters caused my AFib. I dare say others may disagree.
I notice using the computer late in the evening inhibits good sleep or even causes insomnia. A big mistake I used to make.
I never use my phone for other than phone calls and only ever use a desk top computer but found many years ago that a wedge cushion helps posture and prevents neck problems. Whilst we all like to be in contact too much, over use of small electronics surely cannot be good.
I used to be in IT so have used computers to a massive degree most of my working life, starting 1979. For a long time, computers, especially programming, would have a pronounced detrimental affect on me, sleep loss etc etc; couldn't get whatever I was doing out of my head. But now got to say it's water off a ducks back. I never use any equipment before bed though, except to play solitaire, sends me to sleep. But generally, I'd say it's right that it can wind you up and that has to be associated with AF and no doubt many other things as well.
