Bushy, I really think that you should discuss your blood test results with your doctor. You can always lookup the normal range for each online.

The sodium and potassium look about right. However urea and creatinine look a bit high and EGFR low. I would suggest that you might need to discuss these with your GP and get your kidneys checked thoroughly.

Your results sheet should show the ranges for each test.

I always get told the results by phone

Ask them to print them out for you (and your past tests). Not only are you entitled to this but also they are so useful for you to have in your "in case of an emergency" file.

My surgery never gives blood test results by phone in case of errors. I wonder if you have noted these correctly ?

Certainly your EGFR at 48 is low. I would ask for a print out of your results which will show normal ranges and take it from there.

We really can't nor should not discuss this sort of thing with members. None of us are qualified to make judgements of this nature. Beware of internet "facts " as many are wrong as Einstein recently commented.

All i wanted was a second opinion, now I know, I need to question the results from my Gp

You also need to get printouts of past results to see if there is a trend.
